GERMAN HEAVY/SPEED METAL PIONEER FROM THE 80S! MAD BUTCHER is from Essen, Germany, and the story began in January 1981. Harry Elbracht and 3 of his buddies (Guggi Schirrmacher, Sydney Keller, and Manni Salhöfer) have been the Hard Rock and Heavy Metal freaks for years.
Grown-up with their heroes from JUDAS PRIEST, Ted Nugent, and other bands from the USA (RIOT, MOLLY HATCHET, Y&T) or England (MOTÖRHEAD, SAXON, IRON MAIDEN), they want to show the world that cool music is also possible in Germany. So, MAD BUTCHER was born!
