Founded in 2019 at a party in the legendary Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg, VIOLET born to revive the colorful, extravagant Eighties, a decade full of great melodies and hits, in the here and now. With their debut album “Illusions” from 2022, voted the number #1 time machine by fans and the press, the young formation from the Stuttgart region was able to play itself straight into the spotlight. Their live shows also quickly became extremely popular events for AOR fans. And not just for them.
No wonder, because the passionate performance of singer Jamie Beckham, the virtuoso guitar playing of guitarist/singer and songwriter Manuel Heller, the filigree keyboard melodies of Filip Kuzanski and the irresistible groove of the rhythm section with Eric Hart on bass and Maurice Probst on drums leaves no one standing still.
At the end of 2024, two years after the debut album, which also caused a sensation in Japan and the USA, the eagerly awaited successor CD, “Mysteria“, will be released December 13th.

On Mysteria” there were no limits for VIOLET. Here and there a fine saxophone solo or unexpected and irresistible gang shouts surprising the listener. More guitars can be heard, at places taking a slight progressive turn, but always everything in the spirit of the song. And with an incredible authenticity for a time when all the band members were not even born yet!
If you like authentic eighties sound and count bands like Starship, Heart, Toto or Roxette among your favorites, you definitely should not miss VIOLET.
