Ten years have passed since the Italian Heavy Metal band HEIMDALL released their last album. In 2023 the band wants to do it again and starts with “Hephaestus” to be released by Pride And Joy Records. After further line-up changes, today the group consists of guitarist Fabio Calluori, singer Gandolfo Ferro, lead guitarist Carmelo Claps, drummer Nicolas Calluori and bassist France Amoroso.
The group started with the songwriting of the new songs already in 2018 and entered the Sonic Temple Studio in 2020 to record “Hephaestus”.
HEIMDALL delivers here massive arrangements, anthem-like choruses all over the place as well as lots of fantasy-ladden lyrics and a powerful production are just some of the arguments to look closer and listen to this band. Just take LABYRINTH, HELLOWEEN or even STRATOVARIUS as reference bands.
