"Take My Soul" is presented as the evolution of heavy metal from Alicante Hamunaptra, a band and their debut album left us relatively recently and are willing to take root in the national scene, with a second much more dramatic effect successful than the first, although there is still a long way to go.

Before getting to the content that is after all what we are interested in a review, I want to comment as a curiosity that the CD on the back incorporates a QR code (such as fashionable in recent days), to through which we can access their official facebook and follow the record with their respective letters, all new to this that I wrote (perhaps some see it as normal ...).

The album opens with the title track, called "Take My Soul" in the subject of which boasts the band, where we are beginning to see the first problem is that its self-production and sincerely, voice and battery charged duck from the first moment, but focusing on the song itself, suggest a very dynamic and easy cut, those who enter the first without any problems.

And so begins to reel off songs with a fairly clear view as heavy classic "Whom ..." Effective of strong guitars and drum fragments, intricate time signatures of "Night will come" or double voices "In An Alley "one of the long tracks of the new work, that goes beyond rock on all sides with special attention to the care of the riffs within a development issue down after we have an" Angel ", which will note color to work with a lot of melody to be a part time clearly designed to make the point on the album.

The next part of the disc opens with "Spontaneous Combustion" which if we miss a little introduction is better than plastic, pure heavy metal with a machete and full of cane, with a powerful battery and string riffs to very convincing since it explodes the cut, the voice also plays one of his best cards. On the other hand, near the end of the disc put an item entitled "I invite you to Die," which has a well defined structure throughout its length, turning the weight of Evil to the voice, throughout the duration.

Another of the crown jewels in this case will be over eight and a half minutes of "The Death of the Pharaoh", perfectly set to lead from the opening bars to the Egyptian stage with its rhythms, and raising several parts with different games as the first modulated voice that gives a certain freshness to the song and to make well-posed closure, using the energetic "Exile" is much closer to hard rock to heavy metal itself, with a badass sound and intention that follows this line that said, proposing an ideal working order through strong national and a battery good compenetradas guitars with it.

Although not advertised anywhere come, the last song you are listening to the instrumental record is a way of "outro", lasting two minutes and gives the work a few moments of tranquility are appreciated.

This way I can conclude that the disk moving away from production that could be much improved, is a pretty decent work in which there are still many details to polish, time will tell ... Although I hope to notice a development as significant as that seen with respect to the "City of the Dead".
