Front1Donnie Miller's "One Of The Boys" has to be the last great rock album of the 1980's, plain and simple. Shortly after the release of this CD, rock as we knew it was gone forever and grunge took up residence in it's place. This CD features guest appearances from Cyndi Lauper and Tommy Shaw (of Styx). If you're a fan of the more rockin' sides of Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Kansas and Steve Walsh's band, Streets, then you can't go wrong with this CD.

In fact, Donnie Miller once auditioned to be the guitar player for STREETS. Donnie is a great singer/songwriter as well as being a rock guitarist that possesses both chops and heart, a rare commodity these days. The songs "The Devil Wears Lingerie" and "One Of The Boys" both did very well on the AOR charts back in the day. Melodic rockers everywhere need to have this CD in their libraries. Yes, it's that good AND it's that essential. For more on this outstanding CD, go to rockdetector.com and type in "Donnie Miller". However, I still say that David Spade owes Donnie Miller some sort of hair-royalty for the obvious Donnie Miller-inspired mullet wig in the movie "Joe Dirt". Just kiddin', Donnie!
