I am Samuel, a Swedish guitar player living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I play music with hints of jazz, country, metal, noise and blooming cherry trees. When not doing concerts, recordings or compose music, I teach musical interplay and improvisation at various schools in Sweden. I’m also a proud receiver of the “Jazz in Sweden” award 2010. A one-and-a-half-minute video explanation of the cover artwork for the new album from New York progressive rockers COHEED AND CAMBRIA, can be seen below.
COHEED AND CAMBRIA's sixth studio album, a double concept album entitled "The Afterman", will be released in two separate full-length volumes.
The first volume, "The Afterman: Ascension", will be available on both physical and digital platforms in the U.S. on October 9 via Hundred Handed/Everything Evil, and distributed through Fontana/Ingrooves(to be available in Canada via Universal Music Canada). The second volume, "The Afterman: Descension", is due in February 2013.
22th studio album. The band plays progressive rock, though on this album "progressive" came almost to nothing, and you only hear the rock. But it sounds like all in all very interesting, and quite left the impression that the group "outdated," on the contrary, one might think that this is not English "retired", but rather some young musicians. Beautiful solo with "twin" guitars, bass terrific game that is very much stands out, finally, crystal clear acoustic guitars, all and adjusts to the relaxing mood.
