The band was formed in 1986 by ex-Old Scratch vocalist Marshall Nelson, ex-Sassy Jones/Windfall keyboardist Ron Logan, ex-One Of A Kind bassist Jeff Johnson, guitarist Mark Scheele and drummer Mark Simma. The drummer would split after only one jam session and was quickly replaced by ex-Steve O’Neill Band skinsman Donnie Frank.

Maybe it would confuse people, especially is this debut album had been self titled, as you would have been looking for Escape by Escape on Escape.
