Little Yankees All Or NothingShort-lived melodic rock outfit from Kristianstad formed in 1994 released their debut album back in 1997 through Massive Music. Although the band members coming from Sweden their singer Paul Dexter is Brtish and their sound sometimes sound similar to bands like Heartland, GTS or After Hours.

The great rockin’ that open the album “I Need the Fire” is one of best tunes of the record with exceptional guitar riffs and a catchy chorus. The hearfelt ballad “In my Eyes” is another gem as the poweful “Striking”, a song that will blow you with it’s dynamic and the great chorus and last but not least is the catchy “Fly by Night”. Two Of A KindTWO OF A KIND, in my opinion, is amongst the top 10 releases in 2007. Centred around the velvety yet strong vocals of Dutch singers Esther Brouns and Anita Craenmehr (ex- Night Shade and Fast forward respectively), the mastermind behind this project is the talented Fred Hendrix, founder of two of my favorites bands from the fluffy side of the Melodic Rock / AOR genre: Terra Nova and Aquila.
