The band consisted of two persons and a number of other musicians as required. Those two persons were Denise DeMarchi and Boyd Wilson. Denise was the sister of a more famous DeMarchi, Suze, who was known for her work with the Aussie band, Baby Animals. The Living Daylights sprang out of a Perth band called The Kind, which featured Boyd, Denise and Suze, Johnny Diesel (another top Aussie performer), and a few others, some of whom also provided assistance to the Daylights.They were signed to Massive Records through EMI and TOSHIBA EMI JAPAN releasing three chart topping singles Sliding, Naturally & Merry go round. In Japan their debut album reached Top 10 in many prefectures
