London based Born Healer was formed in 2015 by former Bare Bones Boogie Band members Helen Turner (vocals), Iain Black (guitars) and Andy Jones (drums). They were joined by Marek Funkas (bass) who also plays with his own band, Laba.

In 2012 Ben Craven decided to remix "Two False Idols" which he had release as Tunisia in 2005. During the making of his second album "Great & Terrible Potions" his preferences changed and he wanted to revisit his first release to bring out all the parts more clearly in the mix. Evolution was the first new release from Mason Ruffner in 7 years. Most notable on the album his his own version of the song "Angel Love" which Ruffner co-wrote with Mark Avsec and Alan Greene.
