Hellion started as a cover group, covering songs by the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Scorpions and AC/DC. The band recorded the basic tracks in one evening and recorded the guitar solos, vocals, and mixed on the following night. More»

The CD Hoard is a 5-CD trawl though a selection of the Saxon’s live performances and provides some continuity with the 1990 recording. The Dogs Of War, from 1995, is chronicled on two CDs and is an early live account with newbie guitarist Doug Scaratt. This was previously released as The Eagle Has Landed II and ‘Denim & Leather’ features the rather unlikely appearance of Yngwie Malmsteen. More»

Dirt Eater is the second (and last) album released by Swedish Human Race. Though officially this time reduced to 4 members all of the 5 founding members participated in the recording of the album. The band obviously gets a lot of inspiration from Dio era Rainbow and the album closer is in fact a cover of Rainbow's Tarot Woman. Because of the style and sound of the band they are also often compared to Pretty Maids and TNT. More»

This version contains different mixes and titles and clearly, in some cases, different recordings of songs from the later (1983) U.S. edition. "Paris Is Burning" is called "Paris", and is actually a studio version as opposed to the live recording in Berlin from December 1982. The album also contains a song called "We're Illegal", which later turned into "Live To Rock (Rock To Live)". More»
