NOW! IS a Funny!
80's style music, with some elements of the 50's & 60's. Partymusic with funny lyrics, not ment to be serious, though some songs have serious lyrics as well. Reccomended for all ages.
This album contains party music in 80's style. It is ment for the Norwegian market, but can be understood in the whole of Scandinavia. The lyrics are written in a humoristic style, and many of the songs have a nice dancebeat. Reccomended for people who wants to have fun before or after going out to town or to other places. Many of the songs will make you in a good mood. The music fits all ages, from youngsters to grown up people with a young mind...
HELSTAR began their epic journey back in 1984 with the release of their debut ‘Burning Star’. Since then, they’ve created quite a legacy for themselves, evolving more and more from just basic Heavy Metal to more of a hybrid of Speed and Thrash Metal. Despite hiccups along the way, including nearly a twelve year hiatus from 1995 to 2007, the band came back and proved they were still true to their formula with another three albums that still ran well with critics and fans alike. Now, thirty years later and still going for it, this Texan outfit felt it was time to celebrate in a live fashion. ‘30 Years…’ isn’t the first live album that HELSTAR has released, but it spans over 20 tracks of fan favorites and choice cuts. All recorded in the band’s hometown of Houston, the crisp production lets listeners hear the music on an intense level that will appeal to most fans of Thrash in general. Let it be noted to new listeners that this is not Modern Thrash or Modern Metal. The expectation of crushing riffs mixed with harsh and clean vocals are not going to be present. For the most part, the base of the music is going to sound like Power Metal with tracks like ‘Suicidal Nightmare’ and ‘Harker’s Tale’.

It’s been a long time since the city of Aberdeen has produced a hard rock band capable of making a dent in the UK music scene. By my reckoning you have to think back to progressive rockers Pallas as being the last truly great hard rock outfit to come out of the Granite City and that was more years ago than I care to remember. Well my friends I think the wait is over with the arrival of The Ruckus and their debut album ‘Nothing To Lose’ who, in my opinion, have the talent and most of all the chops to go all the way.

There was a time when I wondered if the French metal scene would finally explode in the face of the world! I think in France we will have to wait a long time! I will not deny that cares a little too much the balls! Yet! Yet in our country there is talent! Many talents just waiting to be known and recognized! Since the time I listen to metal bands French I think it's time to put the record straight. Yes, in France we have a good big sound to our ears of metalheads! This is not Metal Zone that say otherwise ...
The new album will be released outside Moscow of AGE on September 11 via Metalsim Records. AGE formed in 2007 and for 5 years career has released one full-length release, "The stigma of perpetual debt." In the past 3 years, the musicians working on a new concept album, occasionally reminding me of themselves participating in various compilations and concerts in the central part of Russia. And now, a monumental work completed! Metalism Records with the assistance of producer center Mindcrusher Heavy Power presents you sociohistorical metal opera "The Hammer of Witches." This conceptual work tells the story of the creation and development of penal institutions since the establishment of the Inquisition to the present day.
After re-issuing the self-titled debut 2009 release as “Svölk 'Em All” in 2011 through Napalm Records, Norway’s own “bear metal” act Svölk has returned for more reefer blazing debauchery with “Nights Under the Round Table.” Now before you go thinking that Svölk is all about fun times getting high, the new album, more so than its predecessor, presents some seriously impressive riffs that catch you "on guard," especially if you have come to know the band. While the album is no trailblazer, it is worth a listen for those that need to satisfy that Sabbath sweet leaf....er, tooth!
JUDAS PRIEST – SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE (30TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION) 2012

We may have just celebrated the 30th anniversary of the classic Judas Priest album ‘Screaming for Vengeance’ earlier this week, but the band have something special in store concerning the release a little later this year.
The ‘Screaming for Vengeance – Special 30th Anniversary Edition’ is expected to drop Sept. 4 with several notable additions. The group’s eighth studio album returns in remastered form, with bonus tracks and a live DVD from the 1983 US Festival in San Bernardino, Calif.
Tempest is Dylan’s 35thth (sic) studio album as they say, and what a beauty. The thrill is in hearing such a cross-sectional hodgepodgian mishmash of eclectic ways to say ‘Dylanesque pastiche.’ Like the surface of the earth, he’s all over the place—congo bongo, Django jazz, Flying Nun jangle, Northern soul, Canadian punk, gypsy rag, Scottish reel, Xenakisian electronica, gumbo dirge, Elvis-impersonator, beatnik poetry, Delta reggaetron, Hindi laptop, K-pop thrash, J-skronk, avante acoustic field, and an endless helping of Dylan’s take on Tuvan throat-singing. What may come as a relief to many fans, is that there’s no 12 bar blues here. It seems he’s gone all out to bring it all back home. Amen to that.
Formed in 1999, was previously shown SHOEILAGER rather quiet ... Yet the author of a 4 tracks demo (2003) and their first album, Gladiator, released in 2006, with the means at hand, the name was SHOEILAGER ever happened to the ears of your servant is so with this Dark Pact that we discover the Marne, and I must say it would have been a shame to miss such a great achievement this album as the powerful scent Heavy 80's is a success, it is thought in turn to KILLERS, H-BOMB and all these groups made in France that have rocked our youth (I'm talking about a time that less than twenty years may not know!). Everything about this Dark Pact breathes authenticity and sincerity, we feel that these guys are fun and break out to play their music ... Extremely efficient nine compounds presented here are equally unstoppable as each other, ranging from mid-tempo and fast songs ("In The Position", the aptly named "Metal" ...) SHOEILAGER offers us a solid album direct and unadorned that will delight fans of the 80's and the French Metal scene ... Moreover PMFF organization does not make a mistake and invited SHOEILAGER for its fifth edition to be held in Paris in January 2013 ... a good opportunity to see firsthand the good performance of this excellent live album provided.
The first new studio album from ZZ Top in nine years is LA FUTURA, set for release September 11 by American Recordings. The album harks back to the hallmark raw sound of the band's formative years and will, inevitably, be considered a return to form on multiple levels. LA FUTURA, produced by Rick Rubin and Billy F Gibbons, the band’s guitarist/singer, finds the legendary group infusing the newly recorded work with the electric blues/roots approach that typified ZZ Top's earliest work while, at the same time, reaching for new sonic horizons. At its fundament, this is the incarnation of the band whose influence resonates today with such artists as The Black Keys, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age and many others.
Now celebrating their 42nd year with the same line-up, Gibbons along with bassist/vocalist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard have come up with ten tracks that reflect the band’s intuitive take on rock brought to new, sometimes surreal, plateaus. “We thought long and hard about what this album should be,” commented Gibbons. “We wanted to recall the directness of our early stuff but not turn our backs on contemporary technology. The result of this melding of the past and the present is, of course, LA FUTURA.”
Two Door Cinema Club – Beacon [Deluxe Edition] (2012)

Danny Boyle's decision to hand one of the songs at the Olympics opening ceremony (Caliban's Dream) to Two Door Cinema Club's frontman Alex Trimble suggests that the Northern Irish trio's time has come. In truth, while their second album is polished, thanks no doubt to U2 producer Jacknife Lee, there is nothing to distinguish Two Door Cinema Club from several other excitable indie-disco bands. Their debut, Tourist History, was endearingly odd but, Sun aside, Beacon is prosaic and frenetic, its tireless synths and fidgety guitars unable to camouflage the group's dearth of ideas.
