Swedish rockers ECLIPSE will release their highly anticipated new studio album ‘Megalomanium II’ on September 20th, 2024, via Frontiers Music. Today the label is releasing the EP “The Spark“, including the title track and two additional songs.

‘The Spark’ hits the ground running with a riff that’s got more stickiness than a Hubba Bubba bubble popped over a 90’s goatee. Don’t let the gum reference fool you, this song contains one of the band’s heaviest verses so far, but it ends up in an ECLIPSE signature-style chorus that will come in handy at festivals.
The track ‘Falling to My Knees’ is a fun uptempo and, more importantly, a good song that feels very ECLIPSE with the large hooks that brings back the early era of the band. Then ‘Apocalypse Blues’ is not bluesy for sure but a guitar driven monster.
Seen on their upcoming album ECLIPSE are back to their anthemic roots after some modern experimentation on the previous. Great News!
