These are already in Berlin for 16 years and still play well as a cover band of - well well who? After the 2004 album "Eat The Beat", "Leaving DC" their second full length album and much better than suggested by the shirt-sleeved presentation can be.

The opening track "Set Me Off" takes as a stop-and-go with rockabilly hard rock edge, a little misleading, because with "Give 'm Rhythm," "Hail The Rockin' Man" or "I'm Not The One "Brian Jones Memorial singing reminded the group primarily and obvious way to AC / DC. Especially cool in this context "Rev Up - Ride On" and "Long Live The Night" failed, because the brilliant guitarists in general, they do it here all the more, especially as the rhythm section dominates the groove of Australians quite stoic. "Liar" is a nice change, namely a semi-ballad Americana with unhoped change of harmony at the end of the RIFF RAFF identifies as an experienced rabbit, just like the beautiful speaking solos in between. "Good Times - Bad Times" is smacking of funky, "One For The Road" and the title track sound even sleazy, meanwhile, only "We're Only Here For The Beer" a little abstinkt The song titles (also called "We Came, We Saw, We Had A Ball ") are incidentally so stupid that it almost back is cool.

CONCLUSION: RIFF RAFF fairly exciting surprise as AC / DC tribute band ultimately boiled with captivating original songs and games as well as a understanding of humor that one would not expect from a German band: credible, playing hot and compositionally strong band and fills so!
