My latest release, Megalomaniac, was an exercise of potentially unlimited creativity within a specific range of limits, mostly time constraints. In the span of 27 days the music was written, recorded, mixed, mastered, and released. The styles explored in this piece range from moments of jazz and funk, to some of the more extremes of metal, all laced with melodic guitars and synths, powerful bass grooves, and larger than life drums. The concept for this album stemmed from the Record Production Month Challenge (pretty self-explainable, really), and served as both a reason to release new music, and a chance to test the capabilities of the recording studio.
