"If someone said we ever gave a damn, they damn sure told you wrong…" Thank you, Hag.

Another summer is here. We have already seen one naked woman dance in the middle of
a dirt road. I guess that makes it official, like seeing a Monarch butterfly??

The last few months have been busy, as usual. We had a damn good time on the "Blood,
Sweat and Beers Tour" with Eric Church and Brantley Gilbert. They are good people, and
were good to us. Thanks to them, their bands and crew! The shows were extremely high
energy, especially the Nashville show which was a flat-out ass kicker! We had a really
good time, even if we did confuse a few 18 year olds…

Throughout the tour, we played multiple shows in one day, a few times, which proves we are still "hard as woodpecker beaks" from time to time. Take that, bands that don't play multiple shows in a day. The end of the tour with those guys saw us picking right back up with our own shows, as well as the first few festival shows of late spring, early summer.

Thanks to the good folks in Birmingham, Chattanooga and Woodstock, Ga. No thanks to whoever was responsible for the power outages at the beginning of the show in Woodstock. Hopefully that person learned a valuable lesson about sufficient power for a concert event. It all worked out in the end.

We would like to thank everyone who has purchased "The Whippoorwill" at a show. We're
so very glad that our brothers and sisters have the opportunity to enjoy this piece of
work that we're so proud of, and not have to wait until August 14. As for the asshole
who was trying to sell copies of it for $300 on Ebay, we hope you live to be 100, and
you slam your finger in your car door every single day for the rest of those years.

Anyhow, we roll on. I'm sittin' here in Hays, Kansas on the way out to play some shows
in Colorado. I just totally whipped Paul's ass in a game of MLB 2012. He is a little sad.
I'll let him win a game. Maybe.
