Now I shall give me at, to review one Unsigned bands. One of thousands who are in our country. They like: play, write songs and perform just for fun. Enough is surely the dream to break through at all. But that's not the main thing, the important thing is to have fun. One can honestly did not examine these bands, just like the band that has unlimited studio time and with a budget that is 6 or 7-digit. How will my review. This band, from Sundsvall / Bispgården I came by chance into contact with and I can say that I do not regret. Musically, it sounds very much the late 70's, up until the mid 80s.
They mix, just like Saxon and Blitzkrieg, heavy metal / rock n roll and they do it well.
songs I think overall is pretty strong and catchy. So where there is not much to complain about. Purely musical, it is not nothing that stands out negatively, but it works fine. Achilles' heel of many bands, which is located in the slightly lower divisions. Both in terms of fan base and media attention, usually singing.
Zpeedfreak has by his own admission been looking singer in almost a year, and then immediately stressed through markups song on this disc. The music was recorded and finished, well ahead so to speak. When Fredrik Edlund sounds like the best, so he sounds like a lite version of Brian Ross in Blitzkrieg and I like that quite clear. In between, it sways a little and I think that depends a lot on that they simply have not worked enough, much of the right vocal piece. My opinion is that with more experience and hard work, it will sound much better on the new material, the band is already working on. "Legends" that can be seen on youtube, is a småtrevlig song that song straight through work quite so well. Subsequent "Horrors of War" is a really good song, but that unfortunately does not sound totally sure about the song, especially the chorus is heard clearly shortcomings. The need for choirs is quite so blatant and it is the band, according to a statement, adding the next sheet. A song the other hand works almost perfect on every level, is the "Devil's Daughter". It is a wonderfully rough and heavy rock song, where Fredrik takes in the King o motherland and it is perhaps the vein he will continue to follow? The song and the song, reminiscent of the English in Viking Skull. "Wheel Chair Fighters" I think this is really good and it allows early 80tal so there screaming about it. Actual riff sounds slightly Dokken-inspired, the song is so much more metal than Dokken ever been. Fully approved song, even on this track. Conclusion I will say that it's fun to get close to "grass roots" and the Swedish meta lens nucleus. For it is band Zpeedfreak, paving the way for all the bands that are known. They are as it were the foundation of hard rock soul. Thanks to the metal warriors around the country, for being there and harrows on despite lack of success. It really is love of music, you show ..... THANK YOU!
