Stockholm Hard Rockers YALE BATE issued the 1990 Hank Rootstock produced album ‘Business Or Pleasure’ on the City label. YALE BATE drummer Jake Samuels (real name Jakob Samuelsson) later joined TALISMAN, TOTEM, GRAND SLAM and subsequently became vocalist for JEKYLL & HYDE. Guitarist Jonah Dee (real name Johan Norberg) joined SHA-BOOM.
YALE BATE also included singer ‘Alis Magnum’ (Magnus Ahlström), bass guitarist ‘Andy Clarke’ Andreas Claesson and keyboard player ‘Chris Di Neen’ Christian Sandquist. Backing vocals on the album came courtesy of Thomas Vikström, from CANDLEMASS and TALK OF THE TOWN, Carina Karlsson and Katarina Wikzewski.
