Wolf Moon is a power metal band from Helmstedt. The band was founded in January 1992 by guitarist "Sammy", drummer "Andi" and the then bass player "Kanone". The stylistic direction could be described as melodic power heavy rock. The first demo tape "A Dream Beyond A Dream" with 5 tracks was in December 1992 before and gave Wolfs Moon in 1993 various live gigs. After the tape "Awake In Visions" was released in April 1994 and again received consistently positive feedback, the singer "Maxe" got out and with the keyboarder as lead singer the band recorded the first album "Solitary Lunacy" in their own production.
