In 2018 Magnus Kerlund (Blender) and Jan Hedlund (Coastline, Eagle Down) met in Magnus' studio. Both had played in numerous bands and toured all over Sweden. However, their true love was melodic rock and AOR. Soon after, Winding Road was born. Jan's old friend Jonas Tyskhagen (Incardine, Soxity, Yo Motherfucker, Bitches Brew) with his soulful/bluesy voice became the singer. Fredrik Folare on guitar completed the line-up. Guitar-heavy melodic rock with lots of synths and a strong focus on the melodies is the sound of the self-titled debut album. For fans of: Perfect Plan, Creye, Art Nation, Wildness.
