WHITE WATER and its LP 1973’s ”Out Of The Darkness” was a one-album project conducted by future KISS songwiter & producer Vini Poncia. Featuring members from American acts Dick Damone Band and Blue Jays, the intention was to create commercial rock with other elements to appeal a wide range of audiences.
Most the songs are co-penned by Vini Poncia and vocalsit/guitarist John Vastano, who later worked with Peter Criss for his ‘KISS solo’ album and helped various pop artists such as Olivia Newton James or Leo Sayer to their rise to fame.
”Out Of The Darkness” mixes classic rock, pop, blues, funk – accented by radiable mid-70’s AOR, and the cocktail works resulting in a very cool Seventies record with a recognizable American sound.
Now 2023 ”Out Of The Darkness” is being reissued, remastered, with a clean crisp sound quality.
Highly recommended for all ’70s fans.
