Since formed almost a decade ago, British classic hard rockers WHITE TYGËR have been getting better and better. They have spread out across the UK and abroad and even landed some impressive support slots.

After the success of their 2022 debut album, they are ready to expand the fanbase world-wide with the upcoming sophomore LP titled “Back Of The Class”, another fierce slab of Old School Hard Rock from the 80s and early 90s plenty of kick ass riffs / solos and that classic vocals from the era.
Frontman Nip Turner said: “Back Of The Class is all about breaking free from the expectations and carving out your own path. It’s a tribute to those who feel they don’t quite fit the mold, who sit at the back of the class dreaming of something bigger”.
After first listen we can say “Back Of The Class” is a big step forward for White Tygër: expect electrifying riffs, soul-stirring lyrics, and melodies that will stick with you long after the music stops, reminiscent to Skid Row’s finest hours. Each track tells a story of rebellion, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of dreams.
And then there’s the production level, way up from previous album, fuller, defined, powerful – most the time “Back Of The Class” sounds like a major label product from 1988.

It’s sometimes hard to get a certain band out of your head when reviewing especially when they pull it off well.
Do you like Skid Row? Both first and second albums? And what about Crazy Lixx?. Well, WHITE TYGËR are like a mix of these, just a bit more groovy at places.
What you have here is a band that sound remarkably cohesive, a production that is both clear and crisp and a collection of songs you feel have been road tested and honed to perfection. It’s a great record in a very good year for Rock music and one that would have been huge 30+ years ago.
Highly Recommended
