Anyone who thinks Ingolstadt in Bavaria nothing is rock moderately commanded enormous except the well-known BONFIRE mistaken. The city has, despite its very limited interest for good rock music (recently lost their way to the concert of hard rockers HEAVEN & EARTH just eight intrepid noses, 2 of which are also from Holland (!!!) arrived) but some good (new) bands to offer. Although this Silberling has been here for over a year under his belt, but when we reached the request of a promising young combo, we proceed naturally to the deed and take the board apart. And this has nothing to do with the immediate geographic vicinity of the reviewers.
VOLT RAID come, as you have probably already guessed, from Ingolstadt, and was founded in 2010. In April 2013, the present here debut album "Enter The World" was released and since then we plowed diligently the region to make known to the band. Also a performance in the cult show "Night Life" on Bayern 3 with Tom glass (his character drummer of HOTWIRE, another - unfortunately former - hope the Ingolstadt-rock scene) you could already won. Compared to an international career naturally small rolls. After small bun does not sound "Enter The World" but so.
On offer is a classic riff-rock with powerful, very tidy for a self-production, sound. Because some labels can take a leaf out of so. The music is of course not innovative, but simply makes fun! And with the band anthem "Volt Raid", the very good beginners "Ride Out", the moody "Saturday Night" or "Hot Stuff" is also really good song material on board. With Florian Jung has a singer who VOLT RAID own note are - far away from the usual AC / DC clones. "Highway Stop" closes the album from powerful.
Three quarters of an hour fine reef-rock offer VOLT RAID on their debut "Enter The World". This sounds dusty, the songs have power and the sound is nothing great. What more could you want?
