Eighties guitar hero and current UFO guitarist VINNIE MOORE will release a new solo album, “Double Exposure“, via his Mind’s Eye Music label. Vinnie is joined on this half-vocal-half-instrumental new effort by singers Ed Terry (RAGE AND BEYOND, AMERICAN MAFIA), Keith Slack (MSG, MOTHER ROAD), Mike DiMeo (RIOT) and Brian Stephenson (OLD JAMES).
This is Vinnie’s first solo release that features vocals, and that’s a really welcomed idea, as we can enjoy his terrific six-string skills plus some killer, complete hard rock songs. Bandmembers include Richie Monica (BILLY COX, TANTRIC) on drums, Michael Bean and Pete Griffin (STEVE VAI, DWEEZIL ZAPPA) on bass, John Cassidy on keyboards, and John Pessoni on drums.
So you have here the best of both worlds: Moore as the driving force of bluesy hard rockers with powerful guest lead vocalists, and Moore showcasing why he is one of the originators of shred guitar.
