The NWOBHM (i.a. Iron Maiden, Raven, Jaguar, Blitzkrieg, Diamond Head, Tokyo Blade, Venom, Judas Priest, Avanger, Tank, Satan, etc) was also a major influence on the metal landscape of the Low Countries in the 1980s. 7 years ago, Robert Haagsma and his Dutch Steel collector already delivered a beautiful document from (3LP) there with also a lot of obscure work.
Also for Anton Dautzenberg and Vincent Loozen, the compilers of this compilation, the NWOBHM has laid a musical foundation in their early adolescence that has proved indestructible over the years. They say so themselves in the CD booklet. The Love For It Will Never Fade Away.
