In 2006 Classic Rock Magazine decided to dedicate the cd enclosed with one of the issues to glam & sleaze compiled of a variety of mostly lesser known artists. The result was Sons Of Guns released with Classic Rock #92. During the next three years they released a successor each year as Sons Of Guns II - IV. On each paying tribute to Guns N' Roses with a cd cover in the style of a classic GNR cover.
