[EXCLUSIVE]

First of all there are no punk artist on this sham of a tribute album. These are all the hairband hacks from the late 80's. The only exception is the guy from Drama Rama. How can I say this without sounding terse, it stinks. Gee, what a concept take great songs, and ruin them. What a concept.

Just because techo is the new disco does not make it a viable form of music. Or better yet just because something is new does that make it better? If you want to do something different how about doing a big band swing thing, or maybe alterna country bands like Wilco The Mavricks, the Jayhawks, and BR549 covering Cheap trick Songs. This album though rates right up there with Disco Mickey Mouse. The lone exception is the version of "I Want You to Want Me." After that the dreck level gets higher with every track. If you want to hear Cheap Trick songs done right, buy Cheap Trick records, not this garbage. Cheap Trick deserves a better tribute than this. What did they do to deserve being treated so bad?
