Tyranny of Hours is a Progressive - Symphonic Metal band based out of the Northwest United States. Going against the grain of the local music scene, they united their influences of fusion and progressive rock with European metal to create their own brand of music. Featuring the soaring vocals of singer Michelle Mattair, Tyranny of Hours 2013 debut album generated rave reviews from national and international press and fans, alike. With a consolidate lineup and performances at a series of regional shows and festivals, Tyranny of Hours returned to the studio in 2017 to record their second album Darkling, scheduled for release on March 3rd 2018.
