Canadian hard rock band RED RIDER was created in 1976 by drummer Rob Baker, keyboardist Peter Boynton and guitarist Ken Greer. The group did not perform well, Greer worked in coffee, working as a duet with vocalist and guitarist Tom Cochrane. Cochran in 1974 released the solo album Hang On That Your Resistance and had some experience in the music industry. As a result, he joined RED RIDER, which was completed by OCEAN bassist Jeff Jones.
