THE ROCK ORCHESTRA was created in 2020 by events entrepreneur and producer Nathan Reed, with a vision of reimagining legendary Rock and Metal with all the grace and power of classical. Complemented by a stunning gothic visual world, The Rock Orchestra breathes beautifully dark energy into your favorite songs and presents them in a wholly unique way.

With over 400 shows and half a million guests in only 4 years, The Rock Orchestra has quickly established itself as a mainstay for rock fans worldwide and calls itself home to a rotating collective of some the world’s most talented musicians and vocalists.
Now THE ROCK ORCHESTRA is releasing their debut album, “Classics Vol. 1” with a song selection ranging from Metallica and Guns N’ Roses to AC/DC and Led Zeppelin that mashes up the worlds of rock and orchestral brilliance. Think Metallica meets Mozart, Led Zeppelin meets Bethoven, and AC/DC with a cello solo.
Expect spine-tingling string sections, thunderous percussion, strong lead vocalists, and choir harmonies that make even the biggest arena anthems sound celestial. All songs sound very ”rocking’, even the slow / ballad moments like Aerosmith’s classic ‘Dream On’.

That golden skull dripping in gothic grandeur as cover artwork? That’s your visual cue for what’s coming — a dark, lavish symphony of classic rock and pure theatre. The design echoes the vibe of their live shows — dramatic lighting, cinematic crescendos, and a macabre elegance that feels halfway between a rock gig and a gothic opera.

We find here a repertoire spanning rock classics reimagined through an orchestral lens, diving into beloved tracks like “Kashmir,” “Numb,” and “Sweet Child O Mine.” The “Kashmir” arrangement proves to be a standout moment, demonstrating the ensemble’s ability to honor Led Zeppelin’s original mystique while adding orchestral depth.
The vocal performances throughout are consistently strong. “Dream On” is another highlight, with female vocalist Erin Fox delivering a powerful interpretation that captured the Aerosmith classic’s emotional intensity.

The Rock Orchestra are proving that classical and rock aren’t rivals — they’re partners in crime. Whether you’re a die-hard metalhead or just love dramatic, cinematic soundscapes, this debut is shaping up to be one lush, tidy bit of sonic wizardry.
