The Guess Who
Canadian guitarist Randy Bahmen (Randy Bachman) in the early sixties, he organized a group Guess Who, which is the entire first half of the sixties played a bit of composition and Rock and Roll. During this time Bahmen greatly progressed as a guitarist (his skill is demonstrated by the fact that in the early seventies Keith Emerson offered him to join the group later became known as ELP).

Since the mid-sixties Guess Who played for heavier rhythm and blues, records the group enjoyed moderate popularity. Released in 1970, the song "American Woman" won first place in the US charts; eponymous CD began to sell better than the previous. However Bahmen suddenly left their offspring to establish "Bachman-Turner Overdrive".
