Even if the retro wave in any form now somewhat annoying and almost every band that one, two BLACK SABBATH riffs memory has in its repertoire, is bearing this mark, there is but also bands that have potential well. THE GRIM GEBRUDER belong to my mind, at any rate to the type bands. Of course, invent the wheel, the Berlin not new, but their musical potpourri is quite interesting. Unlike many other bands that restrict their style on the exploitation of second-rate Black Sabbath or Led Zeppelin riffs in GEBRUDERN sound by even bands like ANGEL WITCH or DIAMOND HEAD.

Thus the Berlin course can score and songs like "We Are The Dead" breathe the very spirit of the early eighties. Appear at a number like "The Pain" also still VENOM godfather to have stood, but the song is a little rumplig from the speakers. Have quite celebrated as the lumber kings of the Newcastle metal on their first album. Also "Waltz Of Death" and "Northern Soul" can absolutely convincing, with the latter number stands above all due to its hypnotic chorus. Only the closing "twilight" will not put up quite high and falls to the rest of the album as well.

But this is not the end, because THE GRIM GEBRUDER've added "Bamberg Apocalypse" a quite aggressive album that fans of retro sounds like to write on the shopping list, or the band may lend an ear. Although the Berlin come to the big Szen
