Premier Only At Plotn08. Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the upcoming release of the debut album of the extremely talented Serbian melodic hard rock band The Big Deal. Their debut album "First Bite" will be released on May 13, 2022. Comprised of two outstanding vocalists, Ana Nikolic and Nevena Brankovic (who is also a highly skilled keyboardist/pianist), The Big Deal offers a catchy, driving sound that will appeal to both melodic rock and hard rock fans alike. "First Bite" is an absolute tour de force, showcasing each member's outstanding talents over the course of 11 tracks of infectious, catchy and memorable songs.
The Big Deal first came together when guitarist, composer and producer Srdjan Brankovic and his wife Nevena Brankovic, an academic pianist and singer, met singer Ana Nikolic. Ana had been fronting local bands for the last few years but after meeting Srdjan and Nevena they started working together in the studio. While working on some new ideas, Srdjan thought it would be interesting to include Ana's vocals in addition to Nevena's on the recordings they were working on. After a few songs were finished they were very happy with the result and that's how the first demos of The Big Deal came about. These would eventually develop into the music that was presented to Frontiers and eventually landed them a contract. To complete the lineup, the band brought in drummer Marko Milojevic and later Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Revolution Saints) on bass (who was instrumental in introducing the band to the label). Both Srdjan and Marko are members of the most successful Serbian progressive metal band, Alogia. Throughout his career, Srdjan has played many festivals and tours, recorded and collaborated with countless studio and live albums and opened for some well-known bands such as Whitesnake, Ian Paice, Apocalyptica, Savatage and others. He was also a member of Michael Matijevic's live band in Bulgaria.
On his albums "Expedition Delta" and "Alogia" he has worked with names such as Tim 'Ripper' Owens, Mark Boals, Erik Norlander, Gary Wehrkamp, Fabio Lione and Hansi Kursch. Brankovic states: "I am delighted that we have signed a deal with leading rock and metal label Frontiers and I am very excited that my priority in the years to come will be working with them. I shine my music on best place in the music universe because I believe Frontiers is a label with the best ideas and fantastic projects and releases that make the rock scene look much more beautiful and powerful.We started collaborating with a newly formed band consisting of a Combination of ideas with Frontiers came up.
Besides me on guitar there is a very exciting line-up with the pianist and singer Nevena, who I would describe as an original appearance in the rock scene. Besides Nevena there is another rock lady as a singer from the Partie. Her name is Ana and she is an R'n'R lover, with a very authentic and beautiful voice.Marko, a friend of mine Parent band, will be in charge of the drums, and Alessandro Del Vecchio is in charge of the bass lines.
