Lost Ancient Land is a vigorous album, which still aims at placing musicality in the first place, with an emphasis on the melodies, textures, counterpoints and superposition of the instruments. It brings the influences of the classic heavy metal with progressive touches, use of keyboards and orchestra. Introductions, moods, rhythm and tone changes are present in almost all tracks – what does not undervalue the commercial aspect, present on the melodic choruses.
This is the second CD of the project THE BATTLE, which had his debut album launched in 2006. It was produced at the Soundup studio in Sao Paulo, Brazil, by Mauro Juliany. In fact, this project can be considered a true one man job, due to the fact that Juliany is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer, with some music partners. In this second album, he had guests as Piccolo Leone on the drums and Janz Darillo on the bass.
