Drummer Carl Kennedy (Greg Lake band) is a pioneer in digital recording. Carl was often asked by many engineers and producers for his expertise in the recording studio and eventually earned the moniker "The Alchemist". In 1994 Carl decided to record a new album with one of his favorite vocalist Glenn Hughes, unfortunately the album was never released until now.
"Songs from the Westside" is a collection of well-crafted songs that blend intricate tribal rhythms with guitar driven passion. Powerful and dynamic with just a hint of blue eyed soul. Comparisons from Traffic to ELP to Marillion to King Crimson come to mind.
