It happened in the late summer of 1969, 2 weeks after Woodstock. Thousands of hippies and music lovers flocked to the small town of Lewisville, north of Dallas for the Texas International Pop Festival to see and hear the music of B.B. King, Canned Heat, Chicago, Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, Freddie King, Grand Funk Railroad, Herbie Mann ,

Incredible String Band, James Cotton Blues Band, Janis Joplin, Johnny Winter, Led Zeppelin, Nazz, The Quarry, Rotary Connection, Sam & Dave, Santana, Shiva's Headband, Sly & the Family Stone, Space Opera, Spirit, Sweetwater, Ten Years After and Tony Joe White!

The low-budget film Got No Shoes, Got No Blues was meant to reflect this grand event. In my opinion, the money for this film ended at the stage of preparation for the festival. For a number of natural reasons, this film did not receive a rolling life.
The film included (sometimes only briefly) bands and musicians such as
Grand Funk Railroad, Tony Joe White, James Cotton Blues Band, Chicago, Sweetwater, Led Zeppelin, Ten Years After, Janis Joplin.

The quality of the film is far from excellent. Despite all the shortcomings, this film was interesting to me. Maybe someone will also be interested in it.
