The band was named after an old Rolling Stones song "Backstreet Girl". Backstreet Girls are the classics of Norwegian metal, without which there would be no such bands as Gluecifer, one of the best live bands in Norway, the incomparable guitarist Petter Borli, and on the records they sound good: a powerful mixture of heavy boogie elements seasoned with black Norwegian humor, Status Quo, AC/DC and punk.
