The first thing that hits you about this album is the cover. A truly stunning cover. But we are here to listen to the music. This is a sequel to Antony Kalugin's Messages From Afar: First Contact by Karfagen. And a wonderful bookend it is.

The first song, 'Searching Diamonds' sets up the whole album, an upbeat and positive mood. I've always liked Antony's interweaving between keyboard and guitar. He creates layers that builds wonderful music. The instrumental, 'Mystery Train' sounds exactly that, a mystery. Every song is a journey. 'Dreams from a Lonely Town' and 'The Division and Illusion of Time' both hint back to the previous album by Karfagen so you don't forget this is a follow up. Of course the epic 20 minute song, 'Victory Voyager' is those layers combined to take you on a magical voyage. The album ends with the touching 'Father'. A fitting way to end the album. I believe Antony has a special relationship with his father. And this piece of music is there to remind us all of our special fathers. This is a positive prog rock album that was obviously recorded with joy.
