In October of 2012, Storm the Sun began their career in Strongsville, Ohio recording their first EP, So Long, The Deep End Awaits. Tony Gammalo (of Chimaira, Straight Line Stitch, Misery Signals, and Walls of Jericho fame) engineered the album which blends the melody of modern hard rock with the intensity and drive of heavy metal favorites.
With an expected release in early summer of 2013, So Long, The Deep End Awaits is a sucker punch to the unsuspecting North Texas music scene and proves that Storm the Sun is an act that not only comes out swinging, but will continue to fight for the revival of a dying genre.
