FrontA good song is a good song - Bottom Line! And St. Warren is no exception to the rule. In fact, the brothers, Brett and Brad, are currently proving that over and over again. The brothers roots take them all the way back to Tampa Florida where they had an early hard rock/ hair band called Eden Rock which would eventually evolve into St. Warren. In the late 80's/ early 90's, St. Warren was a staple on the Florida hard rock circuit competing for the top band spot and huge buzz year after year.

Their shows were legendary and would sometimes draw between 500-1,000 fans per show. Not bad for a local band heaped in the middle of countless other hair bands vying for the same attention. The band consisted of Brij (Brad) St. Warren and Brett St. Warren, Jeff McDonald on bass, and a few revolving drummers. What made this band stand out was not only the amazingly well-written songs but the side-by-side brotherly harmonies. Brad, two years the elder, delivered the band’s rocking side with his distinct lead guitar style and background vocals while Brett delivered each song with his rock infused vocals and rhythm guitar. Jeff McDonald was the staple of the rhythm section playing with a few different drummers. St. Warren played extensively and was one of those bands that SHOULD'VE been signed and would've been signed had the bottom of the hard rock/hair-band craze not fallen out with the influx of the grunge scene. So the two brothers in St. Warren called it a day and headed to Nashville where some might say they have become more infamous then so-called famous. These two brothers have rock in their blood and soul...and always will. However, they have adapted quite nicely to life in Nashville. They were signed to Arista and Sony as a country act. They have written songs that have been cut by many of Country's greatest stars including Tim McGraw, Van Zant, Martina McBride, Lynrd Skynrd, and even a #1 chart-topping hit with Dierks Bentley in 2009. They were judges on Nashville Star (country music's American Idol) which then led to their own TV show entitled Barely Famous. They caught the interest of Faith Hill which then led to the Warren Brothers winning the opening slot for one of the years hottest tours, the SoulIISoul tour with Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. The brothers are currently playing in Tim McGraws touring band and writing hit songs for other major country artists. Like we said, a hit song is a hit song, and make no mistake about it...the Warren Brothers are writing hit songs now and they were writing hit songs back when they were in St. Warren. Unfortunately the world missed out on some amazing music...Until FnA Records came along in 2009 and scooped up the right to their early hard rock releases and even a few tracks that were never released on albums. If you are one of those people who couldn't drop the $50 on ebay to pick up the gem Honest Planet...now you can get it for a fraction of the cost with additional bonus cuts. On top of that, the even more limited indie cassette only release has been upgraded and turned into an album called Rock Of Eden and is also available on FnA Records. Check out what you've been missing all along!
