Material for the disc was recorded during a performance by Plant and his band Strange Sensation in Chicago on September 16, 2005. During the concert at Soundstage Studios, broadcast live on PBS, the musicians performed both solo compositions by Robert Plant and timeless Led Zeppelin classics.
