Finland’s SILVER BULLET are back with a new studio album, ”Shadowfall”, their third overall and the first to feature singer Bruno Proveschi. Formed in 2008, Silver Bullet evolved into a versatile metal / hard rock monster, conquering festival stages like Rockfest, Saarihelvetti and Metal Capital Festival which brought them recognition they truly deserve. At the same time they were writing a new opus, this time without any limiting theme.
Working again with the powerhouse Reaper Entertainment Europe, ”Shadowfall” truly solidifies Silver Bullet’s status in the scene as one of the most promising melodic metal acts around, mixing the classic sound from the genre with huge hard rock groove.
There may have been a change in the vocal camp as Nils Nordling was replaced by Proveschi but Silver Bullet have lost none of their prowess and the new shouter cuts a fine figure throughout the crisp mix as ”Shadowfall” shines brightly.
Through tracks such as ‘Shadow of a Curse’, ‘…And Then Comes Oblivion’ and the stunning ‘The Thirteen Nails’ show a band with appeal for varied audiences.
”Shadowfall” is an album where the listener will find themselves picking it out time and time again to play and although 2023 has only just started, Silver Bullet have set the precedent for others to aim for.
