Must Have! "Silent Phoenix" is the latest project and brainchild of Billy D'Allyn, founding member of "De Allen". With producer, Tim Dolbear, the goal of this project is NOT to attempt to reinvent the wheel, but rather hone and offer a diverse collection of styles weaved skillfully together to be both cohesive and enjoyable.
Like many fine artist of the past such as Led Zeppelin, Dokken, & Van Halen, we hope to offer our fans a buffet of
music within a single CD. So you will hear heavy songs reminiscent of latter Judas Priest with AOR along the lines of Journey and Foreigner and even some Funk, R&B and some experimentation of our own! Why not? Isn't it time bands stop limiting themselves to one direction? We think so and are embarking on our own mission to prove this theory. Rather than deny influences, some more obvious than others in our songs, we hope people see it as paying TRIBUTE to the many bands and artist that have given their gift of music and visions of diversity for many years, a vision we sadly feel has become lost in some of the more recent generation of artist and bands.
