Hailed in Japan as one of the last great guitar heroes, Alexander Beyrodt is not only famous throughout the Power Metal and Progressive Rock genres for the highest technical skill and extraordinary song writing ability which has made his contributions to Primal Fear, Sinner, The Sygnet and others legendary, but he also has that innate ability to find the perfect vehicle for his music. After the short-lived but successful The Sygnet project, Alex decided to build a line-up with the goal of increased longevity and Silent Force was born. Now, the great German musician is back with his latest effort RISING FROM ASHES, the fifth Silent Force output. This album shows exactly how melodic Power Metal has to sound in 2013: honest, down to earth, powerful, cleverly arranged but not yet melodic.
