According to its members, ROXSTER music is ‘A Salute To Arena Rock from the Eighties’. This six-piece hailing from Scottsdale, Arizona, is formed by veteran musicians from the scene with more than 25 years of experience, and as many acts they started as a cover band. Regular to their set list were iconec songs from Aerosmith, Van Halen, Whitesnake, Journey, Styx, Starship, REO Speedwagon, etc.

Over the past twenty years the band had many members, with the main core of vocalist James Welch and bassist Mark Blythe staying the same.
With new members drummer Conor White (ex Blessed The Fall), keyboardist/guitarist Jonathan Varo, and a guest appearance on a few solos by Sam Coulson (former Asia guitarist), the time has come to hear ROXSTER first full album of original music, influenced by the aforementioned groups, with their own spin and refreshed style.

Titled “Rising“, the album takes you back to an era when melody and catchy choruses where the essence of Rock music. James Welch’s immediately brings to mind Steve Perry meets Kevin Chalfant, while musically ROXSTER recalls Two Fires, the Chalfant / Josh Ramos band.
Indeed, this is Arena Rock, AOR, Melodic Rock very well crafted for an indie, Mixed & Mastered by expert Simone Mularoni (Lione / Conti, Sunstorm, Eternal Idol, Hell in the Club).
