The maestro is in a good mood. It is felt, it is visible and already it turns the concert into a holiday. Richie played with great enthusiasm, teased keyboardist Rosenthal, jumped on the podium for the drum kit and put his feet on the bass drums,
provoked the audience with intros to "Lazy" and "My Woman From Tokyo" (although these songs themselves were not played - from DP's there was only "Smoke on the Water"), and in general was, as they say, in shock. And all I had to do was watch his hands in fascination, listen to every sound he extracted from the well-known white Strat, and once again understand that I adore this musician.
Drummer Bob Rondinelli made a very strong impression. This is the first time I've seen a drum solo played not with sticks, but with bare hands on drums and cymbals, and so fast too. It was very interesting and original, at least for me.
It was nice to see Glover, I liked David Rosenthal too.
And, of course, Joe Lynn Turner. But most importantly, Joe was "in the voice" and sang everything just great. The only thing missing was "Catch The Rainbow" in the setlist. Because Jo Lynn sings it beautifully, with such emotion...

And "The Final Cut" consists of much-loved clips, where two of the eleven are with Bonnet, the rest with Turner.
When watching Bonnet's clips, I enjoyed watching the wonderful Cozy Powell play (although the video does not convey the talent that we can see on live) and from seeing the young Don Airey, it was not for nothing that Purple took Lord's place for him. And about the Maestro, I have nothing to add, except to say again that I am delighted.
