Well, this is a collectors item: “Deutschland Tournee 1976“, a Japan-only huge 6-CD Box Set release of early, Dio-era RAINBOW, containing three complete shows on three double CD sets recorded on the band’s first world tour in Germany. All the recordings have been digitally remixed, and sound quality is excellent.

As a contributor of this website said about this box set: “It may be a little over the top to want three concerts of pretty much the same material, but for true fanatics (LOL), each one is unique and original”.
Yeah, these concerts were captured September 25, 27, and 28 of 1976, and while Rainbow performed almost identical same set-lists, the versions aren’t the same. Many songs are over 10 minutes long, and you know when Blackmore begins to fly over the fretboard… things happen.
Ronnie James Dio is stupendous as usual, and we have Cozy, Tony Carey, Jimmy Bain… well, you know… that magic.
