The PIRATES IN BLACK play flawless Heavy Rock and stay true to their line.After their debut CD, which was released on November 29th, 2019, the second CD called "Money Slaves" follows.
This album will be released on June 16th, 2023 and I was allowed to hear it before. If you then read the liner notes for the selected songs, they immediately take on a completely different meaning. Anyway, you shouldn't just consume it, you should delve deeper into the songs.
"Blood and Rain" goes straight into the ear canals, I think. Strong guitar solos characterize the new album and it's refreshing to see what can happen when you don't have to accept any norms. I was able to see the guys live a few years ago and was immediately enthusiastic.
"Dusty Road" is a quiet, well staged number. Only guitar and harmonica suits the song really well. The thought of a nice campfire in the evening hours and enjoying the starry sky comes to mind.
