Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1975, MOLLY HATCHET took their name from the famous 17th century axe murderess, a prostitute who allegedly mutilated and decapitated her clients.

Mayer began his career performing mainly acoustic rock, but gradually began a transition towards the blues genre in 2005 by collaborating with renowned blues artists such as B. B. King, Buddy Guy, and Eric Clapton, and by forming the John Mayer Trio. The blues influence can be heard throughout his 2005 live album Try! with the John Mayer Trio and his third studio album Continuum, released in September 2006. At the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in 2007 Mayer won Best Pop Vocal Album for Continuum and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Waiting on the World to Change". Roger Water’s lead guitarist Dave Kilminster

It takes some guitarists a life time to win the respect and acclaim of their peers, but not Dave Kilminster. He was named Guitarist Of The year in 1991, as a relative unknown, taking his first steps in the music industry.

It wasn’t Kilminster’s back catalogue of hits or his world renowned live show that captured the imagination (he didn’t have any of that back then; he was still working for IBM), he simply took the critics’ breath away with his playing style and technique.

The magazines weren’t the only ones to get behind him; he soon found himself invited to teach at the Guitar Institute in Acton. From that moment onwards Kilminster’s career would begin to blossom leading him to tour the world with his heroes Keith Emerson and Roger Waters.
