"Torque" is the second album from Swiss female fronted outfit 69 Chambers, following their 2009 debut "War On The Inside". Since then, bass player Maddy Madarasz has departed, front women Nina has moved from guitar to bass duties, and Nina's husband Tommy Vetterli (Coroner) has come in on guitar.
Don't let all the personnel changes worry you. This is a band with a fantastically tight, confident sound that explores numerous avenues from death metal to modern pop to hard rock to whimsical folk. It's one of the most complex yet satisfyingly accessible albums I've heard in a long time, and really demonstrates what a vocal talent Nina is. One minute she sounds almost as gnarly as Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy), the next she's a dead ringer for Adele or Tori Amos.

This is Tony's second classical recording, following 2004's Seven: A Suite for Orchestra.Tony says of the works: "The titles of the movements refer to the elements of a universal story: seductress, journey, hero, quest, decision and goal. Darrell Lance Abbott (August 20, 1966 – December 8, 2004), also known as Dimebag Darrell and Dimebag Darrell, was an American guitarist. He was best known as a founding member of the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan.Abbott also contributed to the album Rebel Meets Rebel, a collaboration between Pantera and David Allan Coe.
Darrell is considered to be one of the driving forces behind groove metal. Abbott was shot and killed while on stage during a Damageplan performance on December 8, 2004, at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. He ranked 92 in The Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 Greatest Guitarist

What threw Finnish traditionalists Machine Men in the maelstrom of change, is not known, but the transformation, though not so essential, and went into their hands.
